Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has started the application process for NDA-II Entrance Test.  

NDA & NA exams are conducted twice each year by UPSC for admissions to
(1) the Army, Navy and Air Force wings of the National Defence Academy (NDA) in Khadakvasla, Pune and
(2) Indian Naval Academy Course (INAC) under the 10+2 Cadet Entry Scheme

However, NDA & NA (Naval Academy) Examination (I) 2020, which was scheduled to be held on 19.04.2020, was deferred against the backdrop of COVID-19 outbreak. Now, a common examination will be held for both NDA & NA Examination (I) and NDA & NA Examination (II) 2020 on September 6, 2020.

Note:
(1) Candidates of NDA & NA Examination (I) 2020 who intend to apply for NDA& NA (II) Examination 2020 should note that their photograph, signature,
choice of Centre & Photo ID as per NDA & NA (II) 2020 application will be utilised for the purpose of allotment of centre and future referencing and they are advised to carry this ID while appearing for the examination.
(2) As a special case this year, those candidates who have yet to qualify in the 12th class or equivalent examination and are allowed to appear in the UPSC Examination should note that this is only a special concession given to them. They are required to submit proof of passing the 12th class or equivalent examination by 24th June, 2021.

The qualified candidates will then be placed in a single combined list on the basis of total marks secured by them in the Written Examination and the Services Selection Board Tests. The final allocation/selection for admission to the Army, Navy, Air Force of the National Defence Academy and 10+2 Cadet Entry Scheme of Indian Naval Academy will be made upto the number of vacancies available subject to eligibility, medical fitness and merit-cum-preference of the candidates.

On passing out from the National Defence Academy
Army Cadets go to the Indian Military Academy, Dehra Dun
Naval Cadets to Indian Naval Academy, Ezhimala (Kerala)
Air Force cadets to Air Force Academy, Hyderabad

All the cadets on passing out will be awarded degrees from Jawaharlal Nehru University Delhi as under:-
(a) Army Cadets - B.Sc/ B.Sc (Computer)/ B.A
(b) Naval Cadets - B. Tech Degree
(c) Air Force Cadets - B. Tech Degree / B.Sc / B.Sc (Computer)
